Frisco Reach Out

Frisco Reach Out exists to share the love of Jesus Christ to people and communities by providing for the practical needs of the vulnerable and the spiritual needs of the hopeless.

Expanding Community - Becoming more involved beyond the walls of our home or our church is just inevitable once we experience the love of Christ. To share this life with like-minded believers and reach out to our surrounding communities together is the essence of the Great Commission. Even if the work we do in the North Texas area is not for everyone, we still desire to be a resource and connect individuals to the best service and worship opportunities nationwide.

Meeting Needs - While the ideas we share may be intangible, we are proud to demonstrate these characteristics in the most practical of ways. Sharing food with the hungry, clothing the needy and satisfying the needs of the oppressed are just a few of the many ways we can give of what has been given unto us. We cannot overcome every injustice, but we can be a source of hope, peace and strength for the vulnerable people we meet. Specifically, we enjoy providing school supplies, boxes of food, Christmas toys, gently-used clothing, hair cuts and medical care at events we host throughout the year.

Restoring Hope - People are broken for many reasons, few of which are easily definable, and the world around us is quite content to deem a situation hopeless long before all the possibilities have been tried. No matter what a home or family has gone through, they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. The core belief of Frisco Reach Out is love… if someone can experience the vast love of the Lord through the humble hands of His servants, then our God can show up powerfully and transform any circumstance.

Reaching the World - In an attempt to express the love of Christ, we do radical things. We dare to believe the actions of a few can change the destiny of many. If we see people in need and have resources at our disposal, the greatest injustice is to do nothing. The encounters people have with us are our only hope of allowing them to see the God we serve and experience His saving grace, unending mercy and abundant favor.

Sometimes when people need to be helped, anyone can meet their needs. Other times, God has us at the right place, at the right time and in the right mindset to be the ones that make the difference. That is how Frisco Reach Out began. When we recognized that several children in our neighborhood needed school supplies, we believed they needed to be helped but we would’ve never anticipated to be the ones that started serving them.
