The End of Summer Celebration gives every child something to celebrate before they go back to school! We love giving out school supplies and gently used clothing to families in need, just so kids can go back to school in style. In addition to those common necessities, we try to go above and beyond by giving out gift certificates for hair cuts or styles. Then to make our event more about ministry than hand outs, we enjoy having cook outs, carnival games, photo booths, prizes and art stations. It truly is a time for the WHOLE FAMILY, whether you’re receiving supplies or wanting to volunteer. Click here or on the link to the left for more information.
The Joy of Christmas gives every child the opportunity to be amazed during the most important time of the year. Our volunteers join together to create a morning filled with excitement and joy. I’ve never seen a room so full of toys, food and holiday cheer. We change it up a little every year, but the wonder of the Christmas season definitely defines this event. It’s much easier to share the love of Christ at this time because the message is unavoidable. It’s as much about giving a loving smile as it is providing a tangible item.
